GOAL 1
Objectives:
Review existing pedestrian and cyclist counts to establish baseline
Use existing data to determine known challenges to walking/biking
Organize demonstration projects/professional development opportunities to explore possibilities and potential barriers to walking/biking
GOAL 2
Objectives:
Review current state of pedestrian infrastructure in high traffic/high use areas
Engage with stakeholders (community leaders, residents, etc.) about needs and available resources
Incorporate traffic and pedestrian safety needs into design, development, or redevelopment standards for construction projects
GOAL 3
Objectives:
Maintain regular engagement and communication between local public transit agencies and HCP
Continue advocacy for improved/expanded service in Warren/currently underserved areas including additional routes, stops, shelters, etc.
Advocate for long-term, sustained support for transit services
Advocate for increased data sharing
